The department of Community Medicine concerns with the study of health and disease in the population of a defined community or group to identify the health problems and needs of defined population and to plan. implement and evaluate whether the health measures effectively meet their need or not. We also provide a vivid knowledge about many recent advances in the field of Community Medicine like National Health Policy, Integrated Management of neonatal and childhood illness, National communicable and non communicable disease central programmes, Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, Biomedical Waste Management, Disaster Management, Updated National Immunization Schedule, Multidose Vial Policy and Family Planning Programmes for the health and welfare of the family group within the Community which contribute effectively to the social and economical development of the country. Department also teaches the students about the efficacy of homoeopathic constitution medicines for the prevention of many chronic disease.
